general FAQs

  • Are there openings? There are currently openings between 9am-3pm between Monday-Thursday. If that doesn’t work, I’ll put you on the waitlist and contact you once an evening opportunity opens.

  • How young do you take students? If the student is mature, they can start at four years old.

  • When is the studio open? Monday-Thursday from 9am-9pm.

cancellation FAQS

  • What is the cancellation policy? Lessons canceled by the student are paid for by the student. Lessons canceled by the teacher will be rescheduled or reimbursed.

  • What is the rescheduling policy? Lessons can be rescheduled if notice is given a week in advance. Students may reschedule during open studio hours according to the availability of the teacher.

  • How many times can a student reschedule during a semester? Two.

  • What happens if the student is sick? The teacher must be notified as soon as possible and no later than 8am to allow rescheduling. If no notice or late notice is given, the lesson will be forfeited.

  • Can I register for just one lesson? No. Students are required to register for a semester of lessons. That being said, the first month is a trial season for the student and the teacher. After this month, both parties will decide if they want to move forward with the rest of the semester.


Misc FAQs

  • Do you provide online lessons? Yes. The same coaching and instructions that are provided in person are provided online. All you need is Zoom, Skype or Facetime.

  • How should students conduct themselves in the studio? Promptness to and from lessons ensures the full teaching time for yourself and others. Park in front of the studio on the street and enter and exit quietly when your lesson begins and ends.

  • How are music books acquired? Links will be provided to the students.
